M/Y REINA SILVIA one of the finest vessels of her size in the Galapagos, permits you to discover the Enchanted Islands in relaxed comfort., she was designed and built by Lyndia Inc. (Stuart, Florida).
General installations and Equipment:
Air conditioning,Hot and cold freshwater pressure, Reverse osmosis desalinator,Flush toilets,
Baver electric dive compressor (12OFM), two Novamarine 14 hard bottom inflatable dinghies,
Stereo system (speakers throughout with individual censors),
Cassette and compact disc players (TV and VCR INTSC), BETA and VHS.
Passanger Accommodation:
Six doubles cabins, tow smaller double cabins. Their selection should be favored for passengers seeking single occupancy.
Owner's cabins (king size bed) on upper deck. This cabin is included when the yacht is chartered and available upon request when FIT cruises are scheduled.
All cabins have upper and lower beds, and are litted oul with drawers, toilet, shower, washbasin and vanity.
Others:
Swim and dive platform,
Expended bow-pulpit for whale and dolphin watching,
Snorkel equipment.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served aboard.
Menus are continental cuisine. At sunset, enjoy complementary
hours d'ouvres and your favorite drink which you may purchase
from a well stocked bar. Briefings, including discussions on the day
ashore visit, as well as a preview of the island landing for the
following day, will be given daily by the naturalist guide on board.
ON THE ISLANDS: :
The yacht anchors on each island
destination and passengers are ferried to the landing point in small
boat called pangas (dinghies). On island walks follow marked paths
which may later slightly from season to season to skirt nesting bird
areas. All groups are accompanied by naturalist guides. Some
Islands have excellent swimming beaches and snorkeling areas.
Few masks, flippers and snorkels area available on board but we
highly recommend passengers to bring their own equipment. The terrain
is often rough and passengers should be in good physical condition.
Galapagos visitors are advised to pack casual, comfortable
garments. Some additional handy items might included: 2 pairs of
sneakers, a light jacket or windbreaker, a sweater, light, long,
sleeved shirts, a rain poncho, shorts, a wide brimmed hat, bathing
suits, a hat, sunglasses, binoculars, sunscreen, repellent, eye
drops, sea- sickness medication and during cold season, you may
need short wetsuits. Dressing is always casual.
