Highlights: We will explore an uplifted area -due to volcanic activity in 1954-, with a spectacular view on Alcedo volcano and along the trail we will see land iguanas, mockinbirds, Giant tortoises, Land iguanas, Finches, Galapagos Hawks, Galapagos Martins, and unfortunatelly some of the introduced animals like feral goats, cats, etc. In the beach we can see the largest marine iguanas on Galapagos, also we could swimm with flightless cormorants, penguins, sea turtles, colored fishes, etc.

Highlights: Today we will follow Charles Darwin's steps, the Beagle anchored here in 1835 and Darwin spent considerable time exploring the area, as him we will see a spectacular young pyroclastic cone, partially breached forming an excellent anchorage which has been a favorite stopping place since centuries for pirates, whaling ships, etc. The cliff faces show century old graffiti dating back to the early pirates and whalers of the 1800's. We will have a majestic view of Darwin's lake, the bay with its endemic and native vegetation like plants as Opuntia and Candelabra cacti, Flightless Cormorants nest along the cove, Galapagos Hawks and Galapagos Penguins are also frequently seen
