Highlights:
We will explore an uplifted island, flat and strewn with boulders, excellent nesting sites for a large population of magnificent frigate birds. Blue-footed boobies perform their courtship dance in the more open area, and swallow-tailed gulls perch on the cliff edges, great blue Herons, lava Herons, endemic snakes, and if we are lucky, the largest land iguana in Galapagos; 13 Kg. weight / 1.20 m. long. endemic to Baltra Island… Despite the tremendous surf that can pound the outer shore, sea lions haul out onto the beach and can be found together with marine iguanas, the vegetation is sparse typical of Arid Zone.

Excellent birdwatching, you can visit this island just with a regular 5 or 8 days cruise Tour from Santa Cruz or San Cristobal or a day tour from Santa Cruz.
